Project Description

Florence was appointed by Drawing Room Concepts to establish a Project Department for the F&B Group. She was responsible for the design, management and implementation for all new development, renovation and maintenance of existing premises in Hong Kong and China.

Her remits include but not limited to liaison among landlord, licensee, franchisee, local authorities, external consultants, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers. She organised and chaired meetings, formulated procurement plans, developed schedules, monitored budgets and performed all construction administration duties. Aside from her main tasks, she was also consulted on business development strategy, re-branding ideas, upgrading brand image, standards and guidelines with Senior Management, Operation, Accounting, Marketing, Graphics and Purchasing Departments.

Alma means ‘soul’ in Portuguese. The interior design and branding concept reflect the different facet of the rich history and culture of Portugal. From the traditional yellow and blue colour theme, the raw and rustic materiality such as timber, Portuguese mosaic tiles called azulejos and to serving authentic taste of specialty dishes like bacalhau, fresh seafood, egg tarts and award-winning wine.
