Rebel Arkitekt is honoured to have been appointed by Gallagher & Associates Asia as the project manager / local representative for the restoration and transformation of the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence. Nestled within the historic Lei Yue Mun Fort, this museum stands as a guardian of Hong Kong’s rich military heritage, covering centuries of strategic coastal defence.

Collaborating closely the client and the project team, Rebel Arkitekt expertly managed this complex project, striking a balance between preserving historical authenticity and introducing immersive, modern experiences. From coordinating intricate logistical details to seamlessly integrating advanced multimedia displays, we ensured every phase met the highest standards. The result is a reimagined museum that opens its doors as a vibrant educational space, where history and innovation come together to connect visitors with Hong Kong’s unique heritage.
