Project Description

Florence was the Midway Asia Head of Projects of Merlin Entertainments which is one of the world’s largest attraction operators. Her role was to direct and oversee all new developments and renovations in Asia, delivering compelling, immersive and innovative products for millions of guests.

The brand-new Marvel 4D cinema and the pre-show Avengers gallery and renovation of SpongeBob 4D Cinema were part of the 3-year capex product development plan. The aim was to utilise spare spaces within the attraction by introducing an alternative multi-sensory, action and thrill experience. Marvel superheroes and SpongeBob were the top theme choice at the time due to its worldwide popularity.
